I wanted to thank you guys for the ministry you all have created here. This has been a great tool to open discussions with my wife. She was raised in an IFB church. Her family is still very much IFB, even after leaving a church that was continually bashing their singing ministry. My wife struggles with the idea of coming out of IFBism. She understands and agrees that no one is perfect, but also wants to use that as a crutch when she hears you guys(or anyone else not in IFB) crack a joke about what we know are mind-blowing IFB beliefs. Some things have been so entrenched and preached so convincingly that you have to be equally prayerful.
I believe that God can touch the hearts of loved ones that are in and stand for the IFB. But man is the waiting hard. I’m praying for you guys, praying for continued guidance, and praying for the hearts of me and my wife to be molded and shaped according to God’s true will.
I appreciate you guys more than you know! Thank you again for your hearts and this podcast.
Thanks for sharing. I read many of your blog posts, cool, your blog is very good.
Your article helped me a lot, is there any more related content? Thanks!
Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
My wife is a staunch IFB member. She will not even look at the material I discovered about the IFB. We now attend different churches. She will not recognize my spiritual authority. I’m heart broken.
