My name is Lydia Hansen and I grew up in an IFB home and church located in Oklahoma City. I’m naturally an outspoken, independent, ambitious woman… traits which I were taught were undesirable and not of a submissive Christian woman. I still struggle with these things today even though I’ve been out of the IFB movement for years. I could tell tons of crazy stories. But a few years ago, I finally found true freedom. Yes, I’m still a recovering fundamentalist and in some ways, always will be. But finding freedom in Christ has been so refreshing, and I am so excited about this podcast!
